Top 3 Takeaways from this Interview

  • Retain valuable employees by considering what makes them happy and successful and helping them achieve it instead of holding them your standards of what happy and successful is. Considering their feelings and well-being improves retention and will not make them feel like they are just there to do the work for you.
  • A simple thank you is more powerful than you know. It makes all the difference when we show appreciation to our employees. It shows them that we recognize their work, acknowledge their skills, and it lets them know that they are making a difference. Appreciation does not hurt and is in the interest of both employee and employer.
  • Everyone in the company is responsible for the culture. Everyone should proactively work in bettering the workplace culture.
